• AAS 5310 is a high-performance two-component, 1:1 methacrylate structural adhesive engineered for general-purpose bonding in marine, composite, fabrication, manufacturing, repair, and industrial applications. It develops tough, durable bonds across a wide variety of materials while offering convenient application and enough working time for positioning larger or more complicated assemblies.

  AAS 5310 bonds to most plastics, fiberglass and other composites, metals, ceramics, and other durable substrates, including applications where dissimilar materials need to be joined. In most cases, the adhesive provides excellent bonding without special primers and requires minimal surface preparation, helping reduce labor and simplify the bonding process.

  The medium-cure formulation provides approximately 12–15 minutes of open/working time at room temperature, giving installers time to position, align, and assemble components before the adhesive begins to set. Parts can typically be fixtured in approximately 18 minutes at room temperature, providing a useful balance between assembly flexibility and production speed.

  AAS 5310 dispenses as a non-sag, creamy gel, helping the adhesive remain where it is applied on horizontal and vertical surfaces. The formulation is designed to minimize stringing for cleaner application. Both components have balanced viscosities and are specifically designed for use with static mixer nozzles, promoting thorough and consistent mixing as the adhesive is dispensed.

  The convenient 1:1 mix ratio makes AAS 5310 well suited for use in dual-component cartridges with compatible dispensing guns and static mixers, as well as commercial meter-mix dispensing equipment.
