1/2″ PEX x 1/2″ FPT Drop Ear Elbow, 304 St. Steel (Lead-Free)

Description

1/2″ PEX x 1/2″ female NPT threaded drop ear elbow made from solid 304 stainless steel (lead-free). Used to connect a threaded pipe or pipe nipple to PEX pipe (any type – A, B or C) at 90-degree angle using crimp (PEX crimp tool + copper crimp rings) or clamp/cinch (PEX cinch/clamp tool + st. steel cinch clamps) method. Drop ear elbow has “ears” which allows to firmly secure the fitting to a wooden surface (stud, joist or plywood) and is commonly used for rough-in installation of shower and tub fixtures (shower heads, shower jets, tub spouts, etc.).
